The highlight of the first series of S197 Mustangs without a doubt is the 2007-2009 Shelby GT500; the most powerful production Mustang to ever hit the streets to that point. Performance hardware includes a 5.4 liter VMP supercharged V8 with a great 6-speed manual transmission, race-tuned suspension and four-piston Brembo brakes. The 5.4-litre twin-cam 4-valve-per-cylinder V8 produced 500 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque with the VMP supercharger pushing max horsepower over 700. With only 500 miles on the modifications and merely 38,600 total miles this particular Shelby features a wide variety of upgrades listed below added in just the last year.
